Born in Germany, Bernhard Rohne became a famous sculptor and furniture designer. His primary mediums are copper, brass, aluminium and zinc which he expertly etches and oxidises to create beautifully fluid abstract pieces of work which are then handcrafted into quality furniture. Constructing and handcrafting some of the finest furniture of the mid to late 20th century for Mastercraft American Furniture Company which has become synonymous for it high style and exceptional design often collaborating with well known artists and crafts men alike.
