About Us

Mid Century Swag based in Auckland New Zealand, showcases furniture, lighting and sculptures by designers predominately from the 1960's thru the 1980's. Some designers are well known American designers such as Milo Baughman, Plycraft and Curtis Jere but also on offer is a selection of pieces by designers many of who are unknown but catch your eye.

Don't expect a typical mid century furniture selection, Mid Century Swag stocks extraordinary and unique pieces that are far from ordinary and capture the imagination. A new container has just arrived from the US - come and check out our amazing new pieces!

The website will continue to be updated each week as new items are prepared for sale.

Please note that all products are original vintage items and as such may have a patina and some wear that reflects their heritage.

Hear what some of our clients have to say about us....

“Auckland designer Jodi Newnham creates interiors that exude modern luxe.  With more than a passing nod to old Hollywood glam, her spaces mix stunning mid-century pieces with rich jewel colours, geometric shapes and contrasting textures. Jodi is a talent to watch.”

Leanne Moore, Creative Director of Cave.

"Discovering Jodi and her incredible eye and passion for her painting has been awe inspiring. I was drawn in by her freestyle use of colours, materials and how they all compliment one another so violently beautifully.
I have bought two of her pieces now and if I could, my entire home would house her work. Each piece is so different and speaks to me to me on a level that excites me and encourages me to dig out my old paint brushes. Jodi is such a talented artist, a very cool lady and I’m honoured to own two of her pieces."
Sam Attenborough - Executive Producer @ Fish Film Makers

"I have a eye firmly set on finding items for my spaces that are truly unique. Furniture that sparks conversation, that has rich history + an interesting story to tell. We’ve acquired some stunning pieces from Jodi that have become an interesting focal point, giving off the same effect as a precious piece of art - where function + beauty collide."
