Geoffrey Harcourt began designing for Arifort in 1962. During this time he studied at the Royal College of Art in London, and won the tittle "Royal Designer for Industry" in 1978. His design motto was 'first the person, then the chair" and this design is a wonderful example of this. First designed in 1967 part of the 500 series we have restored this piece with a little swag factor for the modern home with an appreciation of good design.

Recovered in a soft creamy Chalk coloured leather by Matisse, sumptuous deep buttoned cushions with smart piped edges complimented with a newly brass plated metal swivel base.
